Lynnie is an experienced Chartered Accountant with close to 20 years of demonstrated history excelling in the accounting and corporate advisory industry.
Before leading her accounting practice in Soo Lynnie Accountancy, she was an Associate Director of the Business Recovery Services practice in PwC Malaysia, and has prior served in various managerial positions in the fields of advisory, insolvency and accounting, working with large accounting firms in Singapore and Malaysia.
Lynnie’s expertise is in complex disputes and liquidation of distressed public listed and private companies having successfully developed global settlement proposals, realized and distributed more than USD200 million worth of assets so far, most of them above market value.
Through her diverse industry experience and business activities, she has worked with top management, banks and lawyers, as well as shareholders and creditors. She has been involved in various industries, from plantation to property development, legal firms, trading, manufacturing, financial institutions and a national airline.
In 2021, she was the youngest female liquidator to be approved by the Ministry of Finance in Malaysia under the Companies Act 2016.
She is a Chartered Accountant in both Malaysia and ASEAN, and an approved company secretary.
Lynnie is a member of several institutions and sits on the board of IWIRC (International Women’s Insolvency & Restructuring Confederation).
